Confetti and Sprinkles Party!

Miss E had her 3rd birthday party on Dec 14th which was celebrated with lots of sprinkles and confetti!

playing in the snow thanks to our wonderful family friend who owns Snow in Seconds! The kids had a lot of fun throwing the snow and making snow angels!

About the Party:
Table was decorated with gold confetti and edible confetti dots
Cake Stand: Vintage cake stand purchased off of ebay for my daughter's 1st bday. It will someday be handed down to her.
Chocolate sprinkled candies, cake balls, and macaroons were also served on the dessert table.
Balloons were filled with confetti (Hard to see in the pics)
Party Straws: Shop Sweet Lulu styled in a mason jar with confetti
My inspiration for Elle's party came from this invitation. I loved the 3 cheers since Elle was turning 3!

Christmas Bedding {Tour of Elle's Bedroom}

To get into the spirit of Christmas I purchased the Twas' the Night before Christmas bedding collection from Pottery Barn Kids this year. I am so glad I bought it when I did (right after Halloween) as it is completely sold out. You might be able to find the collection on ebay.

Here is a tour of Miss E's room all decorated for Christmas.

The Christmas Tree on her dresser was given to Elle when she was born in December '10 at Mercy Gilbert Hospital in Gilbert AZ. Elle was born at a Catholic Hospital and one of the local Catholic Schools delivered trees to all the children who were in the hospital during the Christmas season.

The framed I believe in Santa Clause is a piece of scrap book paper that I framed in the Ribba Ikea Frames. They are my favorite frames and this is also a very inexpensive way to decorate.

Her dresser and white sitting chair are from Ikea.  I switched out the dresser knobs with crystal knobs which are from Anthropologie. The Christmas pillow on her white chair is also from Pottery Barn Kids (2011?)

Her bed is the Filmore Twin bed from Pottery Barn Kids and I love it.
Red and White Garland is from West Elm.

The ornaments on her dresser were hand knit from one of my closest friends. Nothing is sweeter than a gift that has been homemade.

and the best part of having a Christmas bed is snuggling together at nighttime and reading some of our favorite Christmas books.

Motherhood Mondays

Not sure where the time goes but I officially have a 3 year old!
I barely survived the terrible twos and I somehow by the grace of god managed to survive through potty training! Maybe in some ways I had my moms guidance watching over me from above cause I will be honest potty training has always been the one thing I dreaded.

To celebrate the big 3 we had a sprinkles/confetti themed party.  I can't wait to share the party details with all of you later this week!

Motherhood Mondays

Yesterday, was the annual Delta Gamma Alumni Holiday Tea which I attended with my little legacy here at the Univ of Texas Beta Eta chapter. Being my second year of attending it was nice being able to attend the event at the sorority house. The DG house is a beautiful home and it was nice getting to meet other moms and their little ones. All the little ones wanted to go swimming along with all of them eating and decorating way more cookies than they should have!

Motherhood Mondays

A last minute work trip for my husband to AZ resulted in Elle and I being able to come along! It was perfect timing as we were able to spend Thanksgiving with my dad and see all of our good friends. Plus, this was also my first time visiting since we moved.  It was a very bittersweet trip as I was visited my old school and I was able to see so many of my former students (they def know how to melt my heart). Plus, spending quality time with our old friends was just what I needed.
Between lunch and play dates, zoo lights and the Tempe light parade, shopping at my favorite mall, and playing at our favorite parks we were busy and had a lot of fun creating memories for Elle!

Princess play date with our sweet friend Miss B! Miss you, your mommy, and brother already!

Waiting for the light parade to start

Taking a break from shopping. Def miss palm trees

A trip to AZ wouldn't be complete without a cactus and a palm tree.
