A Table of Love

Just what I needed to put a smile on face! I received this gracious blog award from Anna atAround My Table.

The rules state I need to share seven things about myself and pass the award to seven other blogs. Oh boy this is going to be tough as I truly enjoy reading all of the blogs I read and follow for different reasons.
7 Things about Me:

1. Love Lilly Pads {Vero Beach, Florida} 2. Love Seashells and making wishes on them {Shell Beach, St. Barth's 3. Love the ocean especially the Caribbean {St. Barth's}

4. Favorite season is Fall {Paris, France} 5. Love champagne {Reims, France}
6. Macaroons from Laduree 7. Love Carousels as they remind me of a being a child {Paris, France}

Now the hard part... 7 blogs that I would like to pass this award onto are:

1. Koralle from bluebird notes
2. Lissa from Humble Pie
3. Melanie from My Sweet Savannah
4. Jen from I am a Nola Girl
5. Lisa from Lisa's Yarns
6. Cathie from m.e
7. Leeann from Fabulously French

Also, thank you all so much for all the kind words this week. You have no idea how much it meant to read all of your lovely comments. I will not know the fate of my job until May 19th. I am keeping my fingers crossed for good news!
Have a wonderful weekend!

What I'm Loving this Week

Loving all of these adorable cupcake liners. With all this stress I have been under I think baking some cupcakes is calling my name!

LOVE the pink combo here! These would be so adorable to use for a birthday party or baby shower

Love the floral pattern. These would be perfect for your springtime gatherings.

Who doesn't love polka dots?!

I want to buy all of these and am seriously thinking about starting a cupcake liner collection! The only downside is I love them so much I don't think I would want to use them!
Have a great day!

4. Love the gathered detail on this scarf

My own thoughts...

I found out last week that what allows me to inspire others, what brings a smile each day to my face, and sometimes even moments that I will always remember is on the chopping block. That's correct... my job. I have moments where I am so sad that I cry and then I become upset. I think to myself how can something that is so crucial to our students and families be taken away during a time like this? Especially when more and more children and families are needing assistance, and often times the school is their only place of help. I know I need to think positive and tell myself I need to trust that it will all work out in the end. I know there are a lot of people who believe in the goodness of my important role that I provide at school.

Tonight I will be attending the school board meeting where a group of us will be presenting why we are needed in our schools. I have learned that when you love something so much and feel so passionate about something and you see it slowly slipping away from you, all you can do is fight back and say lots of prayers.

Appreciating all of You!

I noticed over the past week that I have several new followers, so welcome as this means the world to me! I am so grateful I have inspired you, like you have all inspired me. Being fairly new to the blogging world {my blog will be a year old in Sept} I already feel as if I have known several of you for sometime.
Please know that your comments always make me smile and thanks for all the inspiration! hugs!

What I'm Loving this Week

Loving pretty spring dresses. I adore this first dress because of the color combo and of the bow! I think it would also look cute with a yellow cardigan. Now if only this dress was hanging up in my closest and not on a tree!

I find this second dress to be simple yet elegant. You could wear this dress as casual or dressy, and it can easily be accessorized with many different colors to add a more vibrant touch. Plus, I love the dainty embroidery.

This third dress I think is fun, flirty, and so feminine. I also think this dress could easily be worn casual or dressy.

All I know is that I'm eagerly waiting for Easter Sunday so I can wear my new spring dress and eat one or maybe even two chocolate bunnies!
