mmm.. Taffy

So, I thought this would only be appropriate to follow up my candy post from yesterday to showcase even... more candy! I think these taffy sticks from Kate Landers Events are so adorable and the perfect party treat! I am thinking of having some friends over for a gender revealing party in July and I think the blueberry and strawberry sticks would be perfect! I really do not eat that much candy especially now that I am expecting, but who can resist taffy?!

Sugar Addiction

Off and on all weekend I have been dealing with a stomach bug. However, that hasn't stopped me from admiring these yummy treats. Maybe in some ways it's good that I have not been able to divulge in this sugar madness otherwise my addiction could easily get out of control. After all, I don't think anyone can ever be to old for a good ol' dose of sugar especially when its in the form of rock candy, sugar cookies, and cotton candy!

Tennis+ France = Great Fashion

Did anyone watch the French Open this weekend? If so, you then saw that Lacoste was a sponsor and some of the women were wearing really cute tennis outfits fitted by Lacoste. I did some research where I learned René Lacoste was a star tennis player during the 1920's, so it only makes sense that the players of the French Open would be fitted by Lacoste. Once again, the French always have a way of keeping things classy.

Pretty in Pink

I watched the Martha Stewart show yesterday and it was all about the color pink! Seeing the show yesterday, inspired me to find some pretty pink photos. Aren't they lovely?

What I'm Loving this Week

Since the month of June officially kicks of wedding season I thought I would feature some wedding items this week.

I heart this beautiful hair clip

I heat this delicate floral napkin ring holder. Wouldn't they make a nice touch to a bridal shower table setting?
The napkin rings come in a set of six

I heart this beautiful floral bridal sash that could work for the bride who is wanting to add something extra to her gown of for a guest who is wanting to dress up a simple dress.

PS: Thank you for all the sweet comments from yesterday!

Wedded Bliss

Today my husband and I are celebrating three years of wedded bliss. In some ways it seems like only yesterday Father Thomas was marrying us and we were surrounded by our friends and family. Then there are moments where I wonder how do couples ever make it to their 40th or 50th wedding anniversaries?! I love how every morning and every night I get to see the person that I love so much always being there by my side. Even though not every day is full of roses, I wouldn't change this journey for anything. I can't wait to see what our future holds! I love you Chris!

Grilling Pizzas

Now that grilling season is officially upon us its time to start grilling my favorite... homemade pizza on the grill! We made home made pizzas on the grill last night and it was tasty! This wonderful idea all started a few years ago thanks to my sister who hosts great pizza grill outs. My favorite pizza to make is with black olives, green peppers, tomatoes, and with lots and lots of cheese!
