40 Reasons to Love
I love this mini wooden notepad as it replaces the typical card you would give to someone on Valentines Day! Plus, giving someone a homemade card on Valentines Day in my opinion is an easy way to melt the heart.
If you were to tell someone the reasons why you love them what would your reasons be?!
In college, I wrapped a gift box in red paper and wrote out the the words to Elizabeth Barrett Browning's "How do I love thee, let me count the ways" on the inside of the box. I wrote one hundred things I loved about Mark on pieces of paper in gold pen and curled them and filled the bos with them. Every so often, we'd open the box and read them. My favorite has always been that he makes me want to wake up each day a better person than I was the day before.
ReplyDeleteThat is so adorable and what a great keepsake for you guys. I bet he loved it.
ReplyDeleteOn our 100th day of being married I gave Chris a letter listing the 100 things I loved about him. I feel as if I am slowly losing my romantic touch and with all these Valentines items surrounding me I am feeling inspired to get that love spark back again!
I love NolaGirl's story! I remember when you did that for your 100th day. Gifts like that are the absolute best! They are so priceless
