Celebrating One Year in Texas

This past weekend we celebrated our one year of living in Austin at the beautiful Barton Creek Resort and Spa. How time flies! This is where our adventure all started one year ago when we made the move from Arizona. We needed a place to stay for a few nights until we closed on our home so Barton Creek became our "home" for several days. Such wonderful memories of our first days of living in Texas were held here that we thought it would be fun to come back each year for a weekend, as we start making this a family tradition .

Miss Elle could not get enough of the pool and we of course enjoyed their yummy chocolate chip cookies. Swimming and jumping sure works up an appetite.

Looking back and seeing how much our baby girl has grown and changed from last summer to this summer is just crazy and it also makes me a little sad.

    She is such a little doll! That smile can melt hearts!Love this. When Ryan finishes this portion of the school here in Texas (which will be in September), I'm really hoping we can make it out to Austin and I've been wanting to see Barton Springs! It looks gorgeous! We will have to get together for sure :)

    Wow. Elle has changed SO much! I think it's an awesome tradition to visit this resort every year to celebrate your decision to move to Austin. I can see how great of an impact it has had on your lives and am so happy that you are so happy there.
