Hustle and Bustle

The holiday season is in full swing.
We had our first Christmas party of the season this weekend followed by Miss E's Christmas music program yesterday. This week I will be working on last minute birthday party decorations, finalizing the menu {I have a feeling we should have had this little party catered in}, attending dinner with Santa on Thursday night, and what I'm really hoping for is to find time to enjoy the Christmas spirit by enjoy a cup of hot coca and watching my favorite Christmas movie the Holiday, this week!

Friday's Party: Advent Calendars

For this Friday's party I wanted to feature Advent Calendars since Advent began yesterday and it is a reminder of the years biggest celebration!
I'm looking forward to when Miss E is older and I can have one of these adorable calendars strung up on a shelf in my home where each night she will receive a trinket of some sort and hear about the meaning of Christmas. For now we are enjoying a .99 cent Trader Joes Advent calendar where my husband enjoys a small piece of chocolate each day.

Cozy Christmas Bedding

Seeing Christmas bedding reminds me of being a kid when I had Christmas flannel sheets on my bed. I love how cozy all of these bedrooms look and plus who can resist the beautiful four post bed?

Gift Guide for the little ones

Happy Monday, everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and that your week is off to a good start.

I have started my Christmas shopping and I only have a few gifts left to purchase. I am a normally a black Friday shopper but this year I didn't meander out until 5:00am.

Since, it has been a lot of fun picking out gifts for the little loves in my life I thought I would share with all of you some of my favorite gift ideas.

Squirties, floaties, alphabet letters, and a suction storage bag is included
{Fun for parent and child}
{I bought this last year for my niece and she LOVED it!}
{Adorable!}
{perfect gift for those who get to enjoy a white Christmas}
and the best thing is all of these gift ideas are $30 or less!
For more adorable gift ideas check out Land of Nod!
It is truly one of my favorite sites to visit when I am in need of a present.
