My sweet and beautiful niece turns 16 today!

For her Birthday I wanted to do something with meaning so I framed this photo of us.

Lounge Pants

I love lounge wear/ yoga wear and it is often what I can be found wearing on weekends unless we are going somewhere nice like to church or out for dinner. I have also started going to yoga and for my birthday (back in February) one of the presents my husband surprised me with was these lounge pants.

Energy Bites

During my search on Pinterest (aka my new addiction like everyone else) for some breakfast ideas I stumbled upon these Energy Bites my friend had pinned. I did not have plain oatmeal on hand and substituted with rice krispies.

Friday's Party: Hello Springbreak!

Even though I am not going anywhere fun for spring break I am so excited to have a full week to do whatever I please and to spend extra time with my little sweetie!

Paris Book for the Little Ones

In 2009 my husband and I went to Paris and I essentially left a piece of my heart there.

Some day we hope to return as a family, but in the mean time I want Miss Elle to learn as much as she can about this amazing city.

Since she LOVES books, I can't think of any cuter one for my little book worm than...

Cupcakes in a Cone

Today is my last class of Cupcakes N' Milk.

The special treat for today is cupcake in a cone and for an extra treat I am serving them with ice-cream.

I followed this recipe here via Betty Crocker and they turned out great!

Now, I just can't wait to see how the kids will frost their cones.

* I also think these cupcake cones would be a fun summer afternoon play date activity!

Book Club

I am no longer in a book club {haven't been for some time} due to various members moving away so I was really excited to see that Happy Hour Mom is launching a Happy Hour Book Club! If you are interested click on this link here
